Make it easy to order spare parts with Contextual eCommerce
As an OEM, you offer a wide range of products and variants that differ in performance, maximum load and form factors.
When your customers or third-party partners need spare parts, efficiently managing these differences is critical to provide seamless service and support spare parts orders.
Servitly's new Contextual E-commerce features help both customers and third-party partners quickly and accurately identify and purchase the spare parts that are compatible with the product. This is achieved through a simple, guided shopping experience that saves time and eliminates errors in the purchase process.
To support this experience, we have introduced the concept of Spare Parts and Product Model and added e-commerce capabilities to Servitly, such as the Store.
Spare Parts and Order Management
Starting from the Product page, customer or third-party partner can access directly the list of Spare Parts associated with it. This means avoid lost time in searching the spare parts they needs because only spare parts that are linked to the product model are visible.
Spare parts can be organized into categories, which can be nested. Categories can be used to filter out spare parts. The presence of a clickable technical schema further reduces the risk of buying the wrong part. Once the customer or third-party partner has identified the spare parts, they can add them to the shopping cart and proceed with the order in the Store, all within the same seamless application.
Store
The Store page has been enriched with a section where users can review and monitor the progress of their orders.
An order can be addressed to an Organization or a Partner, so also your partners become spare parts dealers. When an order is created, an order management flow takes place that includes several actors and steps, from order creation to delivery of the purchased products.
Product Model and Spare Parts: impacts on Console User
To help Console User better manage products, we have introduced the concept of Product Model.
Now, in addition to Thing Definition, Console User can organize and name products the same way they are organized in your public catalog.
This structured approach ensures streamlined management of different product offerings, facilitating easier updates, maintenance and scalability of the product catalog. In the Console within the Catalog the Console User can now configure all the spare parts that are used by products. A Spare Part is defined by a code, a name, a description, and optionally you can attach images.
All these news feature are available for the following module: SMART SPARE PARTS & CONSUMABLES
